Pros

The chevalier black damascus is hypnotic to look at, the way the light hits the blade it dances over the layers of damascus it's beautiful. Fit and finish is really nice. Steel is fine scandiv but could be better.

It has a great mini japanese style santoku slim profile great for slicing boxes and food prep.

Opening the blade by the flipper takes little effort, but it is secure enough to not worry about it coming open in your pocket. The mechanism holdsthe blade open, but the blade can be opened with out depressing the button, flip style and very smooth. ... Read More

Action is smooth and crisp. Push button lock is great. Knife flips and flicks great.

Cons

When the blade is closed it is too tight and cannot be deployed with the flipper tab. The entire knife feels flimsy. Knife just loosely flops around.
