Pros

The damascus and carbon fiber make a beautiful duo. The blade came with an amazing edge and perfect centering when closed.

The opening action is fantastic. The flipping action is very smooth and the pocket clip is great. Flick with finger snaps out fast lock up tight. Flips and closes like a dream.

For what you get, the price point makes the chronic a steal. Ease of use is easy and completely reliable. Completely satisfied with my purchase.

The g10 handle has great grip and the action to open it is nice and smooth. Since the knife is relatively small i find that having a firm grip between the pad below your thumb and the ring finger and pinky assists opening.

Quality

Wow really surprised from the quality and how nicely made this knife.

Civivi is priced along the lines of kershaw’s and sog’s but the quality and craftsmanship is much higher and i’m a big fan of kershaw.

But the longer i have it, the more i notice that the slightly curvy blade shape doesn't quite look right with the straight handle.

Disappears into a pocket with the deep carry pocket clip.

Price

Civivi is a great value and this knife is no different.

For what you get, the price point makes the chronic a steal.

Packaging/appearance

The little packaging and pouch kit would make these knifes a perfect gift.

Great action, detent, and sharpness right out of the box too!

I just received the knife so not much to say, but mine has flush mount screws on the pocket clip!

Competitiveness

I carry this one more than my benchmade.

So far it works very well for what i purchased it for (amazon box warrior) and it’s the only non spyderco knife i own!
