Pros

I open up every new knife i get to remove the horrible shipping oil/grease, and then i loctite everything like it arrived from the factory without any loctite at all. The knife fits my large hands ok - a little short but still a great edc.

The action of my cogent is buttery smooth. Blade lockup is amazing and is perfectly balanced when closed. Soft button, as supposed to the altus’s more rigid and “clicky” button.

I highly recommend this one for ease of use and it's also resistant to some metal contamination. Just a beautifully designed piece of hardware. And could compete with the higher end premium steels.

The lock button is on the wrong side for lefties, but i have learned to use with ease.

I use a spyderco sharpmaker on my knives and have gotten hair popping edges on every knife i've sharpened with it.
