Pros

Soft button, as supposed to the altus’s more rigid and “clicky” button. Blade lockup is amazing and is perfectly balanced when closed. Opens easily with the flipper and unlocks smoothly and then drops shut.

I have more than one civivi and considering the price point, they're fantastic knives.

Scales are all well rounded and grip very well, no hot-spots anywhere in particular. Clip is a little awkward because it was set up backwards, he knows it is reversible just hasn't changed it yet.

Keep them clean, sharp and lubricated. Great ergos, blade shape and sharpness out of the box. Stainless steel is relatively easy to sharpen though.

This one is a real gem. Glad i did, this is a keeper. This edc knife is just outstanding!

Cons

This knife seems cheap and flimsy. The blade is loose. Totally defeats the purpose.

Packaging/appearance

Smooth open/close, fits great in my hands, and the packaging was pretty sleek too.

The edge is, as usual for civivi, shaving sharp out of the box.

Looks and feels good, the damascus pattern is a little in your face, but that's the price of wanting the awesome micarta grips.

I use a spyderco sharpmaker on my knives and have gotten hair popping edges on every knife i've sharpened with it.
