Pros

Blade deploys quickly and smoothly with every flip. Not perfect, but it swings out of its weight class. I am not a knife snob, as i like best bang for the buck.

It sharpens really well and out of the box comes papercutting sharp. Sharpens easily enough with my diamond sharpening stones. This shape lends itself to being used for heavier tasks than the leek.

This is lighter, a little thinner in the hand, and the blade shape is completely different. The 3-finger grip is very comfortable and perfectly good.

Love it all, the damascus blade is heavy and sturdy.

The pocket clip is bad, and gets bent without much pressure.

This is not like some flipper knives that have assisted opening; it does not.

Packaging/appearance

Came in a nice soft bag with a small handle.

The case it arrives in is a nice addition, and i see myself using it when i travel.

Came very sharp out of the box.

Comes in a nice case too, not that i will be using the case.

We knives did a great job on this budget line, civivi.

I have other civivi knives, and this one does not disappoint.

I see this same issue on other more expensive knives as well, and yet have seen cheaper knives properly polished.
