Pros & Cons
Pros
The praxis ergonomics is great; the handle is easy to grip and the deployment with the flipper tab makes it easy. The knife is super compact and can fit in pants pockets comfortably. Not to big with a very usable length blade.
Quality for the price is outstanding imho. Mini praxis and thestd praxis are the best chinese knives i have used. Fits in pocket nicely as an edc.
It’s a great slicer and can process small sticks for kindling or feather sticks. The actual blade comes insanely sharp and i cut myself once by being a klutz and closing it on my thumb. The blade is pretty thin which makes for a very sharp knife.
The ultem is executed expertly, but didn't wow me. The praxis mini is just such a perfect knife. This knife is fantastic!
D2 blade steel, ultem scales, caged bearings, and excellent overall construction for $39 is hard to beat. The steel sharpens brilliantly and the materials are what they claim. The pocket clip feels invincible.
Cons
The knife is fine but way overpriced to be a damascus steel print. Action isn't very good, too much friction in the movement. The liner lock tab sits too far down which makes it too difficult and unpleasant to activate with my thumb.
Highlights
Quality
The knife mechanism worked smoothly and the blade was sharp, overall very well made and easy open and close.
The steel sharpens brilliantly and the materials are what they claim, the d2 steel and g10 grips are great.
Even despite my own lack of safety, the knife simply bounced off of my finger and only left a shallow cut that barely broke the skin.
Every single kershaw i've ever had (3) eventually the flipper mech brakes or fails and you have to use the thumb stud.
Price
I have to say for the $30 i am super impressed.
For the price this is great, i recommend it to my female friends.
I mean for 30 dollars it's honestly a steal.
For $30 this knife knocks it outta the park!
Shipping
I requested a black pocket clip from civivi and they sent me one for free with $5 shipping.
I reached out to civivi customer support on january 12 and they responded the same day.
Update 1/20/24 emma from civivi reached out to me on 1/18/24.
Packaging/appearance
Made for a really nice secret santa gift!
This thing was razor sharp out of the box and came inside a zipper carring case.
The packaging with case was impressive and knife even more so.
Comes with little case and cleaning cloth.
Competitiveness
This knife beats similar models from other brands that are twice the price.
And if anyone has ever bought a cheap, no name knife off amazon--probably made in the same large east asian country in which ci... Read More

Civivi makes great knives, but so do a lot of mid price makers.

Opening the mechanism keeps all your fingers nicely away from the blade and even so the back of the blade wouldnt be able to cut anything if you happened to have your fingers on them for some reasons

Simply because the only way to make it safer is to dull the blade and make it a swiss army knife or something like that

The grip is flat yet still textured and easily grippy doesnt stick to your fingers like rubber though which is good

The clip is not removable so i dont recommend buying this product to do tricks with but its definitely possible just slightly harder with the clip

For stimming and fidgeting i give the knife a 710
