Pros & Cons
Pros
The action is buttery smooth with the ceramic bearings. It is really smooth, snappy, and very comfortable. The mechanics are excellent.
This knife is worth every cent as is. The materials are well suited to the price. Pros:- 14c28n steel in a drop point is a great combination.
Lovely micarta work encapsulates a wonderful front flipper w/good steel. Easy opening with the full sized handle, tab is big and prominent so the flip is easy. Makes the spidey-flick another fidget friendly action.
The grind is thin enough to keep it from bogging down in cardboard. Cuts like a kni. A few swipes with a ceramic rod and stropping is all that was necessary to get it hair splitting sharp.
I am in the usaf and i evaluate tools. Finely tuned detent with satisfying click when deployed, early lockup. Fits perfect in hand, deploys effortlessly.
Cons
What i don't like is how incredibly tight the hinge screw has to be to keep the blade centered. Real effort, every time.

Overall, it seems very well made and fits well in my hand, so i am very pleased with this purchase.
14c28n blade is thin behind the edge and is easy to resharpen to a razor.
Clip bent after having it in my pocket for 2 days.
Price
You get a really good knife for a sub $70 manual.
This knife is worth every cent as is.
There is nowhere else that you can find a premier designer created, damascus bladed knife for under $100!
Looks way more expensive than it actually is.
Competitiveness
Ray laconico is one of the hottest knife makers and designers in the world today.
I’ve enjoyed the civivi/we line and this is the first knife with thumb stud deployment that i enjoyed more than a flipper.
The bottom line is that civivi makes a 100 dollar knife feel like a 3 or 400 dollar knife!
Overall though, civivi makes solid knives, especially for their price point.

Btw you will need a t6 torx bit or screwdriver to remove the pocket clip and install it on the other side if you are a lefty

The jumping on the front flipper is not really cut to be very useful and the plunge grind leaves a bit to be desired and adding a larger sharpening choir isn’t possible because of the stop pin placement
