Pros

Really nice locking mechanism, blade drops freely. It's fidgety but finger safe. Lock will make your finger sore, but it's a happy sore.

The damascus blade is beautiful and indestructible. It effortlessly slices through anything in its path. The blade and liner finish are free of any blemish.

It's surprisingly heavy, but not excessively so. The slight additional weight is not a deal breaker for me at all.

This knife is awesome! Nearly everything about this knife is simply amazing. This is a game changer for sure. This thing is everything i hoped it would be and definitely up to the hype.

This knife is easily the nest knife in the $100 price range. It is consistent with the high quality and craftsmanship i expected from the brand. Their reputation as a manufacturer is well-deserved.

Cons

Blade is discolored or scuffed.

The bad is the inconsistency of the locking mechanism ( super lock lol ) if you use the thumb studs, 7/10 times the lock gets jammed up and sticks. It's an almost $100 gamble whether you get a good one i guess.

The nitro-v blade steel holds a great edge and handle feel good in the hand, all in all a great little knife

I love the super lock, super smooth and sturdy.

This is a hard material that is slick and even more so when wet.

No blade wiggle in any direction when locked open.

Price

In conclusion this is perfection at this price point.

As the title says, it's a perfect knife, especially for the sub $100 price range.

Imo this damascus version looks and feels more premium than $99.

It's really that good for the price point.

Shipping

Despite having prime it too 10 days and didn’t actually ship for around 5 days.

I was frustrated with shipping delays out of civivi’s amazon store.

Packaging/appearance

I got mine in ultem, and while it looks amazing, it's a little slick to grip, but i love it so much i'm determined to solve that problem.

It didn't come extremely sharp out of the box, which i wasn't surprised at.

White damascus model a very nice gift.

Competitiveness

I actually like this version better than the "premium" version.

I would even put this ahead of a few more expensive knives i've owned over the years.

Similar to the shark lock of demko fame but somehow it's better!

I have a few others at this price point, but this is my first civivi and i must say their reputation as a manufacturer is well-deserved.
