I have to cut the threaded rods down if necessary so that they dont stick out too far under the seat but that is easy to do once the seat is in place

Place the boat seat clamp on the floor carpet or a rug and with both handspalms push down hard like youre sitting on it and turn the swivel 45 degrees so you have access and you can see the 4 seat bolt holes

I removed the bolts that also came with it only the wing nuts worked for my use
