    I had to strip it to wash it and noticed the waterproofing layer was breaking down flaking off in small chips

    The upper layer is nice and soft but it does pick up staincolor through the sheets over the years as well and as i already mentioned waterproofing is decent but not if you let stuff sit there for a few hours
