This bed is just as pictured. It looks pretty classy as well. For the price, this bed exceeds my expectations.

The platform slats fit in easily. I just wish slats were the bowed type for a firmer mattress. Goes well with our memory foam mattress.

The instructions are wordless and horrible. The wooden slats that go directly underneath your mattress are ridiculous. They are useless.

Metal brackets that hold the legs on have snapped in half. The plastic side legs tend to bow inward or outward from the point where they are * in, which leads to instability.
