This game unpacks and sets up very quickly, and the quality of cards, tiles, and miniatures is incredible.
The quality of the components is excellent, and i've had a lot of fun playing the scenarios i've tried so far.
I have to disagree with the reviewer who said that the two matching pairs of characters have no distinguishing features.

The tiles are made of a rugged cardboard with gorgeously rendered terrain on side

There are cardboard character cards with holes in them that the human player actually places pegs in to kep track of wounds

To some extent he can deny the demon player access to the board by blocking off open tunnel tiles but this forces him to spread his warriors thin where they cannot support each other as well

Or the previous version of descent havent played the current iteration which is laborious and typically fails to engage both sides like claustrophobia does
