We really like the convenience of this dispenser so we ordered the replacement as a spare in case our old unit fails completely

Unfortunately the new dispenser made a loud grinding noise at the end of the cutting process

The paper would be cut properly just the way it should be but each time we pulled the paper out of the dispenser there was a loud grinding noise

It did not feel as if the paper was binding or having any other problem but each time the paper was pulled out there was this loud grinding noise as if the paper cutter was having trouble moving back to its proper position

Were not sure there was an actual defect but it sure sounded bad and we did not want to take a chance
