Watch videos a few times through first and dont shortcut and follow the steps. The videos on the cleancut website are very thorough, as all you have to do is follow step by step. Very helpful dyi instruction videos.

Cons

The only barrier between the water/moisture and the sub-floor is the bead around the step. No membrane. Despite the adds, the product is not easy to install. The caulking/seal is not acceptable and reliable.

Great economic solution for converting tub to walk-in for older person

I am certain it would have cost me well over $1,000.

The one we finally found gave us an estimate of over $1600, so decided to dyi.

Shipping

Overall took me about 6 hours with trips to lowes and lumberyard-and i’m very handy (your results may vary).

If i had it to do all over again i would have sent this back and ordered the rite size directly from the company its that big a deal!

Btw it said i was going to have to wait three weeks for delivery.

It came fast, and was returned and and credit given right away.
