Pros & Cons
Pros
Mat is high quality and holds up to the heavy weight as the large doors on the dreambox must open on wheels that swivel. It's very thick and does not flex at all when i roll over it.
The chair glides so effortlessly that you constantly roll off the edge of the mat and onto the carpet. It glides over it like it's skates on ice and i have to get use to not sliding right off.
The durability and expected lifetime of this item will pay for itself over the years. It's a bit pricey but in the long run it will most likely even out with the cheap plastic ones that have divots in them when you sit in a chair.
Highlights
Quality
This product is very well made and looks like it will last for many years
We have had to replace our chair mats several times over the past few years and this is the best, most durable we have ever had.
This is a rigid, hard and thick plastic that does not bend.
My previous mat created divots all over its surface and eventually started cracking into many shards of hard vinyl.
Price
Proof of value will be if the mat can last without cracking.
I only wish it was less expensive, but it is the best value that i could find.
I bought this mat in 2016 after buying brick and mortar mats every year that cost 60 bux.
This is overpriced for just a piece of plastic, but it is perfect otherwise.
Shipping
Arrived as promised via prime using a local carrier (enterprise box truck with husband/wife team).
The mat was shipped flat with cardboard on both sides.
We ordered the mat hoping it would be shipped flat and not rolled up.
Packaging/appearance
Packing (two sheets of cardboard with staples and tape around edges) was sufficient to prevent damage.
We were so tired of buying mats that dented into the carpet and were useless.
I got the 46" x 53" size which seems to be the package dimensions.
Competitiveness
Although this one was expensive compared to the competition i decided to try it.
