Installing it was more trouble to the right of the opening there is some sort of control module

The connectors are identical from what i could see so i marked one with a piece of tape to make sure they went back in the same order

The filter says it can be used in either direction but there is a foam strip down one side that should face the front of the vehicle so not quite either way

This is one of those things that might be unpleasant depending on the car but is usually pretty straightforward and there is no chance for you to cause any real damage to the car if you make a mistake

Now it comes the tricky part poke the old filter right in the middle with your pointing finger and push until the upper and lower corner come closer together

You might want to pull one corner first then the other until the whole filter is out
