The price wa really good for this buy!
Although these are a bit pricey, it is such a relief to have the opportunity to use bleach without the fear of spills.
Only complaint is on the price as these are much more than a bottle of bleach.
This product was a personal purchase for myself at the normal retail price.
Packaging/appearance
The container is sealed great so no children can get in them!
The added bonus is that this controls the amount of bleach to be used by having it in a packet.
There's no way you can end up with a chlorine smell on your hands, either, since the packs don't leach the odor.
The packaging in child proof which is good as there has been a lot of news around children thinking laundry packets are candy.
Competitiveness
As always, clorox is the best product and does a superior job.
I found these bleach packs to be a useful alternative to the conventional liquid bleach that comes in the gallon containers.
Walmart has the best ones, but we don't live anywhere near one, so these are a great alternative.

For home i dont see the appeal simple and cheaper to just pick up the liquid bleach bottle and pour it in the machine

I usually throw this in with whites start a heavy wash cycle for about 2 minutes so it dissolves before pausing the wash to let soak
