The pole rests nicely on top as you can see in the picture when it’s collapsed. It rests flat against the wall when not in use then when opened, it holds several shirts or whatever is on a hanger! Seems to be sturdy enough.

Is this nice for someone who wants a movable non permanent solution for laundry? Is that the only appeal? This product is very cheaply made. But, poor execution. It’s a hassle.

This is lightweight and that said it is also rickety. The metal is flimsy and jambs a lot. This does the job, but it’s very light weight and cheep.
