Of the phone advised me that they had had a bad batch of polls with this problem and they would send me a new set

But what is more noteworthy is the customer service i received from wildhorn outfitters i bought the trekking poles 7 months prior to first use and on day 1 of using them the screw on one of the lower clamps apparently came loose and the clamp fell off

They seemed very sturdy to hike with overall and the shock absorbent technology saved my elbows

If i had to pick a winner it would be the cloud ripper poles

The latches dont lock quite as tight as id like if you put a lot of weight on a pole it may telescope on you if a latch isnt screwed super tight
