Pros & Cons
Pros
This is my first ergonomic type hook and i’m 60. I have been crocheting for 70 years. I measured the hook & it is the correct size, contradictory to other reviews.
The larger handle and grip makes it so i don't have to move my wrist as much and helps with cramping after extended use. Made a difference for the better for me and my style. Only complaint is that its sharp and if i'm not careful will make my thumbs ... Read More
The grip is not squishy but it is soft and the needle is solid. The padded handle is so soft. Comfortable and perfectly sized for my small hands.
Cons
The polyester/microfiber cloth in our shirts, they pull the threads out a little, which is a mess to correct. The handle is *not* silicon, like i'd hoped. It is useless.
Highlights
Quality
Quality hooks with a very smooth grip that helps so your hand won’t get tired so quickly
I also tend to start a lot of projects and like to keep the hook needed with the project so i keep buying more.
Competitiveness
It’s quite easy to crochet with and is clearly a well-made hook with a metal cap, comfortable grip & size embossed on the handle too.
I recently decided to try the ergonomic variety of hooks and decided on the clover based on reviews and sale price.
I’m used to using susan bates inline hooks and was disappointed when i bought her tiny steel hooks to find they weren’t inline.
