I make bags and before i cut the bags out i quilt all the pieces that i will use

I generally just do diagonal cross lines on them and i used to mark them with tailors chalk or some other method

I sew on that line and then i dont have to mark any more i just stitch all the other lines one inch apart using the first one as a guide
