Pros & Cons
Pros
They slide easily into the fabric with no snagging. They stay out of the way of the needle and presser foot. They are easy to grab and remove as you sew.
I foresee these pins not only lasting through this year, but for years beyond! Love these pins. The pin shafts are smooth, the plastic tab is big enough for you to easily grab. They do not bend as easily as some of the finer pins.
These pins are of excellent quality, and slide through two layers of minky and batting easily. I am a quilter, and so my need for straight pins happens often. Working on a paper pieced quilt and really needed flat pins.
Cons
The pins are not sharp and the diameter is large leaving noticeable hole in the fabric. They're not sharp & i almost have to force the pins through fabric. The pin is thick and the ends are dull.

(tried a cheaper brand that did not have the flex- was a 1 time use).

I could wish for them to be a little stronger but then they wouldn’t be pins and would be thin nails instead
