Pros
It has an soft crip which is gentle on your hands. It works great pulling loops of thread. Sometimes they get trapped between the backing and the batting.

This little gizmo is so fine you can pull any thread back through a sweater or jersey knit. Been sewing many yrs. Does not damage fabric. I only wish they would partner up with olympus and sell crochet threads and knit tying cording.

I first saw this soft touch thread pic in action while watching a nancy zieman episode where she showed how to quickly and easily bury her long thread ends within the middle layer of her quilt after completing free motion quilting

From the back of the quilt you can then bury the secured thread tails within the quilt layers without having to cut them too short

I really like the fact that the light grey patch shows which side is up so that i didnt have to squint to figure out where the hook was because its so small
