This little gizmo is so fine you can pull any thread back through a sweater or jersey knit. Been sewing many yrs. Does not damage fabric. I only wish they would partner up with olympus and sell crochet threads and knit tying cording.

Cons

It pierces the fabric easily enough, but, have been unable to pull any threads through.

I first saw this soft touch thread pic in action while watching a nancy zieman episode where she showed how to quickly and easily bury her long thread ends within the middle layer of her quilt after completing free motion quilting

It makes the pic easy to maneuver in and out of the quilted layers to grab the thread ends from the quilt top side and bring them to the back side for tying off with the bobbin thread after completing areas of free motion quilting

From the back of the quilt you can then bury the secured thread tails within the quilt layers without having to cut them too short
