Pros & Cons
Pros
The co-z water distiller holds a full gallon of water plus it has a heating coil beneath the water chamber and then a chamber for collecting the condensate. It's very loud but with the operation of what's going on, i guess that is expected. Do this wi... Read More
The unit has a quick-distill and very-quick setting. I primarily use it for my humidifier in the bedroom. The control panel is intuitive and easy to use, allowing me to customize the distillation process according to my preferences.
Water distiller is easy to clean and easy to rinse out. Removable parts and dishwasher-safe components make cleanup easy. Cleaning of mineral deposits or hard water deposits is a breeze.
Cons
The timer is way too long so you end up all the distilled junk getting boiled into your distiller and water supply. Zero anything in the distilled water and the water it started with has the most minerals, toxins, and sediment in it. I would expect so... Read More
Air is cold. Also, the thing is cumbersome to operate. I have a tds meter and it reads 0 when done.
Highlights
Quality
I’m very pleased with this machine and with the quality of the water it produces.
Works as advertised and minimal mineral build up.
It won’t be of any use in cleaning the unit and due the process of distilling the units do need frequent cleanings.
This kind of hard water is not good for drinking, cooking or using in small appliances such as humidifiers.
Price
I saved the entire cost of this machine in less than six months.
If you want to stop buying bottled water to save the money and the environment, definitely get this machine.
Thats at least $400 a year if i buy the cheapest water and it's tax free.
I look at cost of unit and how long the product is been out.
Shipping
Also, one of the distillers arrived with a broken “foot” and after reaching out to the company they sent us a new pair of feet.
Competitiveness
Having a distiller at home is so much better than making multiple trips to the water store every week.
The cost is 3 times less than the more expensive distillers out there.
It's just not as good as store-bought distilled water.
