The water distiller works great, distilling about a gallon of water in 4 hours. I often distill 5-6 gallons in 1-2 days, allowing for the machine to cool between them. There is an amazing amount of scaling after each gallons of water distilled.

We use tap water, and the color of the sediment on the bottom is white/brown/black. Vinegar cleans these crystals the best.
