I am very happy with the distiller, it gets the job done.

There’s an easy fix for this problem, you simply have to be diligent in maintaining the product.

I would have liked to get more of the one that came with the distiller, but i couldn't find them.

But it distills pretty fast and we haven't had any issues with it.

I wish it was a bit faster, but you can't blame the machine because the process is slow.

Packaging/appearance

Let me warn you though, after you see what you have to clean out of the distiller, you will be loathe to drink tap water again.

Competitiveness

I would most certainly recommend it over other more expensive products.

Sure the ksd301 ones are $2 each but the packard / supco seem like industry standard.

The packard or supco switches have 90* legs pointing up but i bend them down to 180*.
