Pros & Cons
Pros
The product works as advertised. It's fairly easy to wipe out, but it is more maintenance that i wasn't really expecting initially. I like the way it looks and how it operates.
Glass decanter is a solid value for home distillers. This is the first distiller i have ever bought and i love it. I raise venus fly traps that die unless distilled water is not used.
Cons
Bad product. Buyer beware. Buyer beware. Spend a bit more for better/safer & safer quality.
The water smells aweful and highly suspect that it might be adding lead to the distilled water being produced. The two pieces of metal are welded together with nothing in between. I believe it was a sub standard quality of stainless steel from my prof... Read More
The electrical system on this thing is rudimentary at best. I have a tds meter and it reads 0 when done. Naturally unplugging it stops the current, but i'm surprised because the advert says it's ul listed.
Highlights
Quality
Works as advertised and minimal mineral build up.
Solid build and easy to setup and store.
I turn mine off when it is around 3/4 of the way through a pot of water and everything just wipes up with a paper towel.
For the longest time i thought it was broken and didn't work because the machine would auto start running when i plugged it in,... Read More

I've probably already recouped the cost of this in savings from not buying distilled water to use around the home.
Fact is if you use a lot of distilled water i think it will nearly pay for itself outside of power usuage.
Shipping
Also, one of the distillers arrived with a broken “foot” and after reaching out to the company they sent us a new pair of feet.
I had a small issue with my machine when i first got it so i contacted their customer support who responded very quickly with a solution.
Competitiveness
I only drink distilled and this is much better than store bought.
Having a distiller at home is so much better than making multiple trips to the water store every week.
I did exchange it out for a different machine thinking it was a manufacturing error, but the second machine i received had the ... Read More
It's just not as good as store-bought distilled water.
