    After i returned the lamp someone from the company reached out to me via email and confirmed that the missing pieces were not a recurring issue

    Their is a plastic insert that fits below the light that does a good job of hiding the fixture from underneath the light i do not even see any open seems between the placement of the plastic insert and the sides of the shade
