Pros

This light is stunning. Found this fixture and the discounted offering of open box and took a chance. Otherwise it’s a decent light for the price.

Glass shade on the bottom shades the bulb but still provides all the light needed. Soft even glow, without the glare i was getting from the ornate ones they replaced.

Bought for my foyer and thinking about buying 2 more for my hallway. This light looks amazing in my livingroom. The brushed chrome around the top and bottom is a nice touch.

The drum shade is just slightly wider at the top than the bottom. It fits nice and tight. This light is gorgeous, especially for the money!

Cons

The canopy bolts actually need to * in place (bottom of screw facing downward) before you screw the bracket into the ceiling box. Wiring is pretty standard but the directions provide no guidance whatsoever on how to wire this thing up.
