The unit works fine except that the stirrer shaft that came on mine is 6mm and doesnt appear to be stainless

Updatethe vendor said that the shaft is stainless but when used in an acid environment it will react the way that it is pictured

The blade itself is scratched and marred likely from a vise or vice grips that held it as it was attached to the shaft

The blade is installed on the shaft as it is inserted into a slot in the shaft and held in place with a pin through the shaft and a hole in the blade

The blade feels very loose the pin looks like it is about to fall out
