Pros

Step bit worked well expanding a hole in 1/8 steel plate to 1 1/4 inch. Used with a cordless drill & a little 3 in 1 oil.

Very sharp and no heat marks. One complaint is that the bit leaves a ragged edge on the premier of the hole cut requiring filing to make a smooth edge. Nevertheless, i am very pleased with how the step bit performed.

Cons

The product description is very deceiving. I know this bit is really cheap, but for my application it was worthless.

Couldn’t get through kraus sink. Used oil. Bit incapable of boring through stainless steel (sink) ended up using die grinder.

Very old, meaning thick plating not the cheaply newer ones you find today.

0 toolbox and needed to make a lot of holes in the toolbox for switches, buttons, cigarette lighter sockets, etc.

For the price it's definitely worth it and then i've had it a month or it's held up great with daily use.

Cheaper than buying it at the store and 2 days shipping if you use amazon prime.

The bit did a good job for the price.
