Cons

Don't be mesmerized by its 1960s styling. Nothing screws together properly. The chrome shade doesn't attach to anything; it just dangles.

The only reason why it's not in the garbage is i need to be refunded. I have metal sliver in my hand from the poorly machined parts. The styrofoam is cheap and just crumbles, so getting this boxed up for refund is going to interesting.

The bottom of the lighted lamp is 57 inches. It’s at its highest height before coming dislocated from the pole. Also, my arm is sore now from messing with this lamp.

Looks classy and exactly what i wanted.

Also, packing is awful as mentioned in other bad comments.

As i unwrapped the lamp, i had pieces of styrofoam everywhere from the shedding of the packing.

Also, you have to handle the packing styrofoam with surgeon-like proficiency, lest you want a huge mess.

Competitiveness

It is as well-made as a similar lamp i found at a high-end furniture store for double the price.

I'll keep the lamp because it's hard to find something similar.
