Pros

Overall sturdiness, light and visual appeal is good. I really do like the looks of this lamp and the lighting it gives. I use the lamp in our guestroom and it looks great.

The lamp base has substantial weight, so unlikely to tip if bumped. It leans a tiny bit, but most floor lamps on carpet do that. The base is heavy and i have no worries about it tipping over.

Cons

The cross-threaded pole part is not worth ordering another one or even the hassle of packing it up to return. The basket is too big. The black round plastic piece that was supposed to screw onto the socket, holding both pieces on, would not screw on.

I was surprised to see how sturdy and well-made this lamp was!

I feel like i'm going to break the thing every time i try to turn it.

Now we just leave the light switch alone and turn the lamp on by flipping the power bar on or off.

I think it should have come with both light bulbs it only came with the small light bulb

The included bulb was totally smashed/broken though (in shipping).
