The unit turns on the heating element and blower once i take the blower handle out of the cradle. I can set the hot air wand down in the cradle, it automatically cools then turns theblower off, until i pick it up again. It heats quickly and does the j... Read More

Used it to solder a wire to the motherboard my broken lightboard. I had to order a new backlight fuse on my computer after it shorted.

A nice addition to my workbench. Has agency approvals, so i presume it is reasonably safe to use. But intend to use it much more.

I'm just a hobbyist maker and tinkerer. This machine suits all my needs, in a compact and efficient unit. This is why i wait for awhile before i give a review.

Cons

Worked great, but then wouldn't restart. The station turns on immediately when plugged in and there is no way to turn off the heat unless you unplug it. This is not a soldering kit that got any sort of mileage.

Avoid this product like the plague! This product is beyond defective, it's dangerous. Packaging terrible. Returned to seller for refund.

Works great have had no problems would recommend an extra tip set

Temp control on the iron is great and the air gun is fantastic for removing components and other tinkering.

The led will return to displaying the preset temperature once the handle is removed from the cradle.

Got this to replace a digital soldering iron that wouldn’t work right.

Granted, this did save me thousands of dollars from buying a whole new computer, so definitely payed for itself.

Works perfectly for $100 guitars and $1000 guitars.

As you can see it has paid for itself 100 times over.

The stereo in my jeep went kaput and i got a quote for $4000 to upgrade and replace everything.
