The monitor is an 11inch long rectangle. Although all much smaller, they are still easy to read and symbols (a droplet, thermometer and battery shape) make it obvious what they are. The display is the prefect size and easy on the eyes.
The machine self calibrates, but you can adjust the level of co2 detection manually if so desired. The readings are pretty much accurate and i'm satisfied with the work.
Cons
An excessive build-up of carbon dioxide - which we all exhale in every breath - has deleterious health effects. It's not like carbon monoxide which is naturally odourless and will just kill you.

On first use i followed the instructions for calibrating the device and when running in our living room with open windows i was not surprised to find the co2 level to be very low

During the evening the level increased a little and although staying quite low hit a level where the device started to make a really irritating beeping

Co2 had not suddenly risen to a worrying level and there was absolutely nothing i could do to change the level so i eventually just turned it off

The next day i went through the set up again to be sure and again it was low during the day and started beeping in the evening so again i turned it off

Conclusion is that it confirmed my thoughts that the areas where i lived which in addition to being rural is one of the highest points in the south east of england does not have a co2 problem but leaving it running all the time with the annoying beep that told me nothing useful was not an option

May be useful for some if they have health issues that require low co2 levels but not for us
