Cobbler's choice is the right choice. These hangers are very chunky and are very well built. It’s nice to see any item crafted so well.
At just over 1/2 wide they are much thicker than any of the other wooden hangers i own. Perfect for hanging even the heaviest winter coats. They’re very sturdy and can hold heavy coats.
These are some aromatic cedar hangers. Full of natural color streaks and emitting a wonderful aroma. The smell is not overpowering.

The bar to hang pants is absolutely non-slip. It is the expected size and there is enough friction to hang a pair of slacks on it as well. They also have a pants bar if you wish to use them for a suits or tuxedo set.
Cons
One metal hook was literally crushed. No consistency at all. They have more of a chemical odor to them.

I knew i wanted to get wooden hangers because the metal ones tend to stretch and break if you put something heavy like a coat on them

Unfortunately most of the sellers on amazon offer only very large numbers of hangers such as ten twenty or even thirtypiece packs
