I have not had this vacuum pot long enough to have troubles with the handle, so i can only speak to its coffee making.
This thing is high-quality; every piece evokes beauty and highly refined build quality.
Packaging/appearance
Once the brewing process is complete, the coffee siphons back down into the jug part, where it can be poured from.
Competitiveness
I am using very ordinary grocery-store brand coffee and it comes out tasting like a high-end cup.
The bodum products are good, but extremely fragile and replacement parts are costly.
I'm no stranger to siphon (vacuum) coffee, having previously owned a bodum pebo then after that an epebo for years.

The glass is not fragile it fell off the counter and landed on the floor and didnt break

The steeping time is short for this siphon potabout 75 secondsinstead of the usual 120 to 240 seconds
