Pros & Cons
Pros
They feel sturdy and will work great! Would recommend for those purposes. That is what it is for, btw.
It's coghlan so it's not super quality but serves its purpose. Purchased slightly cheaper than it was priced at the big box outdoor store.
Highlights
Quality
Solid, well made , great seal , water tight
It holds matches and it can be held underwater for days without leaking.
Too bad the matches today are so inferior to those i could strike on my pants or by my finger nail in the good old days.
I managed to fit 16 stormproof matches and two strikers in their original plastic cover.
Price
Coghlan's plastic match box is a great product for a great price.
Price is right for a small match holder.
Purchased slightly cheaper than it was priced at the big box outdoor store.
Shipping
There was a long delivery delay though.
Packaging/appearance
Came as expected, fairly sturdy plastic container to keep matched dry.
Bought some store-bought matches to add to this pack and it was perfect to bring for camping with scouts.
The box or tube is good quality.
