Pros

This camping sandwich maker is strong with a good fit top to bottom fit. Holds about a couple of small bread slice size, but its enough to make tasty individual campfire 'pies' with.

The price i paid on amazon is amazing since i saw them in a famous sporting goods store for more then double the price. Separates at cast hinge for easy use and clean up. Shipped well; no issues there.

Don’t over think seasoning. Although these are pre seasoned, they need seasoned. While it may have a slight flimsiness, it still holds up admirably well during use.

Cons

The closing latches are uneven between irons. To thin to for 2 slices, - even before putting a filling in. The wood handle is cheap and will fall apart easily.

Easy to clean and the holding handle sturdy.

Great weight, easy to use and can make anything from desserts to sandwiches over the fire.

I unscrewed the heads ,cleaned ,rubbed with crisco , and seasoned in 500 degree oven .

Everything stuck on the first use and it was pretty sad.

Price

Was so inexpensive (under $10) compared to what i’ve paid for campfire cookers in the past i had to buy a few.

This looks like it is going to be a really nice gift!

You have to follow the directions on the packaging and just leave it on each side for two minutes.
