Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons
The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

Make a 1/4 inch undercut on the branch then go to the top and start your cut. As the limb pulls down on the undercut it relieves tension as well as friction on the saw.

Cons

The product has much to be desired in the range of product quality. The pull rings on either end are barely crimped together. Wire is just too small.

Not very efficient but almost worth the price i recommend getting a saw tho

You have to let the saw do the work or it will break and it does get quite hot when in operation

Remember if you have to pull hard or it binds it will break the wire

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I would not recommend cutting over three inch wood with this thing

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

You can pull it back out and saw off a stub to get the wire hot again then straighten it again

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

When youre using it make sure the branch or tree does not pinch the saw or you could end up damaging the wire

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The main purpose of any survival item is emergency use

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

A chain saw will cut a lot quicker but you wont take it in the bush
