I didn't even see a cheap weld like the picture and only looked like the tin shaft was pressure fitted over the heavy steel tip but regardless if you're worried, the tip slides about 3/8" of an inch inside the shaft so all you need to do is drill a small hole half way up the flange and slip a finish nail and crimp it as a cotter pin and you know it won't fall out.  Read Less
