However after about a year the tip fell off like many have posted here

I didnt even see a cheap weld like the picture and only looked like the tin shaft was pressure fitted over the heavy steel tip but regardless if youre worried the tip slides about 3834 of an inch inside the shaft so all you need to do is drill a small hole half way up the flange and slip a finish nail and crimp it as a cotter pin and you know it wont fall out

I didnt have any decent rivets nor wanted to trust anything thinner than a steel nail in case it melted

Maybe the new models will come out with a strong rivet at the tip to deal with the weak point

Either way if this ever breaks for good im getting a new one
