Pros & Cons
Pros
This is very sturdy when set up. Great for fondue in house. This one is sturdier and stays together better.
Using a light weight titanium pot and lid, it'll boil 10 gallons of water. Together with a good back-packing pot and a solo stove and a small bottle of 91% or higher iso alcohol, this permits a sturdy camping cooking kit.
Cons
The basic sterno stove is better. Uncoated steel rusts, rust stains your gear. No instructions. Gave me a headache.
Highlights
Quality
Quality, sturdy construction for use with small or large pots.
Light weight, but quite sturdy for cooking, or other needs, including a source of heat, [ always have sufficient ventilation ].
The surface of these is something that burns and creates a rather dark and toxic colored smoke.
The device itself is aldo quite sturdy.
Price
Tested great and seemed a decent price.
Sterno's are an easy low cost way to heat soup or other goods and this little guy is just the right size not to be cumbersome.
For roughly $25 you can have this stove and a couple canisters of the fuel, so not a bad thing to have around just in case.

Packaging/appearance
It’s a great size for packing and carrying, fits easily in limited space.
This should be in every packers bag.
Competitiveness
I have used the other well known brand for years.
Would be better if the sterno can was with it

Of water in about 7 minuteswhich is the amount of water needed for certain freeze dried meals even though in my opinion it is a little on the heavy side if youre concerned about being an ultra light backpacker and thats really only drawback to this because its such a simple product that really only has one purpose
