Lightweight but absolutely no issue getting pegs into hard dry ground
Flat head hits stakes squarely and easily.
It has held up to wear and tear through countless smashings of stakes into the ground (and the occasional beer can).
Price
Will it last forever, no, but for the price you should get your money's worth.
Shipping
Though i haven't used it yet (can't wait to try it), it got here in good time and it looks great.
Competitiveness
Seen a few other lightweight mallets and i prefer this one.

We still have the first one we purchased years ago and still use it that is when our 5 year old grandson isnt sneaking off with it on his own mission or wanting to help pound pegs during set up

Should work for pulling them up again but havent used it for that yet since our used stakes have pull cords

My old wood handled rubber mallet was losing its peg puller so i went with the plastic model

The plus and minus is that this one is significantly lighter than the old one much lighter to pack carry but not as easy to drive stakes
