Pros

But it isn't a piece of junk, and will get the job done - if you remember that it is a $15 handsaw. This saw is awesome it has a carbon steel blade that will throw sparks.

This little thing blows away the wonderful, but not locking saw found on swiss army knifes.

Cons

When folded, that sharp and senseless protruding metal edge at the top will poke/rip through just about anything. The safety is extremely flimsy, and looks like it could easily snap.

The blade is paper thin and crinkles up while you saw small branches. You just have to re-flatten the blade every couple strokes. The plastic feels like styrofoam, the blade is thin and wobbly.

The warranty is useless as it requires almost as much postage as the original price. Not worth returning but definitely a ding in the seller.

Mine finally broke today after 8 years of service.

Price

For inexpensive practical purposes it is hard to beat.

I'm giving it five star because of what you get for the price.

Usually you have to spend extra $$$ to get ultra lightweight camping gear.

But, for the money, not too bad.

Packaging/appearance

As i’m packing everything and wrapping them in ziplocks, i come back to this saw.

Competitiveness

I'm comparing this saw to that one so that is why only four stars.

The sierra saw cuts easier and quicker than the bahco.

It's not as good as a laplander but you can buy three of these for same price.
