Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a very good knife that is easy to sharpen and stays sharp for a long time of normal use. The aus8 stainless steel used is a decent budget pick and tends to keep it edge well for a knife in this price range. Compared to the srk c, its lighter, ... Read More
The secure-ex sheath fits the knife and secures it so that it won’t fall out by accident. The tanto is very tight in the sheath, and it does require a bit of a tug to pull the tanto out.
The handle is rubberized and well-textured. The handle material is comfortable and very grippy. I am six feet tall and my hands wrap around the handel perfectly and with a good grip thanks to the rubberized handle.
With a blade length of 5/12 inches and a loa of 9 7/8 inches, its design facilitates good performance under tactical use. Best of all, it comes in a somewhat smaller package with a blade just shy of six inches.
Cold steel 17t kobun tanto fixed is another great cold steel knife. The steel is aus8 with cold steel's good heat treat, it resists corrosion well and maintains an edge. Cold steel also offers the recon tanto.
Cons

Highlights
Quality
I have several cold steel knifes the quality do not disappoint.
I've purchased a few cold steel knives over the years, and have always been impressed with how sharp they come from factor.
The clip for the sheath is really poor design.
Thin blade for cutting non hardened material.
Price
Great deal for a knife that's just the right size to carry concealed.
You can't ask more for a knife, especially this price highly recommended
No way i’ll spend $100ish on the recon i had in my cart, or the additional $100ish for the master tanto from cold steel either.
I almost bought the master tanto for $100 but wanted to see what there entry level tanto was like first.
Competitiveness
Compared to the srk c, its lighter, and a bit thinner.
