Pros & Cons
Pros
One-handed opening takes some thumb strength, but it's obviously not that bad. The thumb stud makes for an easy snappy deployment of the blade. Good grip is not something i'd ever complain about.
If you're getting a knife that was already a good deal when it was $250 and it is now $90, that just speaks for itself. Big beefy knife. If you want one of cold steel's nicer pieces, this is a good one.
I would love to have one with some serration. The second sharpest knives are the fallkniven a1x and s1x. I know some folks feel the need to soften some edges, but i haven't found that necessary.

This a great design however the blade grind on mine was very uneven to the point where ive had knives that cost less than 10 that had more symmetrical grinds

Also the edges of the aluminum lock bar are so sharp that they literally cut a hole in a tshirt that i was using to clean the knife also the knife rapudly accumulates wear on the lock bar if carried even semi regularly
