Pros

Edge retention is similar to my carbon steel esee and ontario blades. Came shaving sharp with edge lightly oiled. It is sharp. Even after some use it still shaves.

The sheath is high quality, and locks the knife in very snugly. It also holds a smallish ferrocerium rod which, after the black crud is scraped off, throws a nice little spark.

As a back up stored in a 4x4, camper, or cabin it makes for a serviceable cutting tool. The transition from tube to blade and how the blade is off-centered is setup to make it easier for a right-handed person to choke up on the blade. Very inexpensive... Read More

The sheath is pedestrian and does rattle some, but acceptable at this price point. I hike in terrain that may contain both 4 legged and 2 legged predators. Outside of the obvious spear handle (broom handles work perfect) my preferences are a minimalis... Read More

Cons

The knife it self is on best harbor freight reject material. The secure-ex sheath is also rather flimsy and pops off easily. It's literally the only knife i own or have ever even seen with this design flaw.
