Pros
Cold steel baseball bat is a great way to control your swing. Best value for the money. Best blade available for mass retail.
One for my ex and one for my son. Will save ya a lot of aggravation in the end. This quietly sits behind the door waiting for that/those unlucky intruders. It just pays to be vigilant.
Cons
It bends and the weight to strength ratio seems a lot worse than a solid hardwood bat or actual steel bat. I'd rather have something that i know will end the situation and not have to struggle to hold it in the event of a brouhaha.

While the description says it weighs about a pound a half most of it is at the end of the stick which means considerable torque
