Pros

It's not overly heavy, but yes, it's a slab of steel. The grip has a rough'sand board' like texture giving a firm grip. The palm swell fits good in the hand.

The sheath is a 'secure ex' sheath. Sheath holds securely with a solid snap. It's very similar in style and toughness to a ka-bar becker bk7.

All really great knives. Decent steel. Quick ship. They go together perfectly. Awesome blade. Beautiful blade.

Cons

The sheathe retention isn't so bad that turning it upside-down and gently bumping it will cause it to fall out. But the retention on the sheathe responsible for holding the knife in is far too low.

I wish it had a choil or unsharpened section near the hilt, so i could choke up for shaving wood.
