The steel is impeccable and beautiful. The wire wrapping is something to get used to, but is fully functional, and gorgeous.

The sword arrived promptly, carefully packaged, undamaged.

It's even shipped swimming in oil, which is exactly how it should be done, given the grade of steel.

Sword came well packed in a cardboard box that had additional bracing and was wrapped in heavy plastic.

This sword came neatly packaged, and of course, covered in storage grease.

Competitiveness

(for comparison, it's about 14oz lighter than the hanwei cromwell backsword.

For the hemaists out there, it's actually pretty comparable to my blackfencer synthetic broadsword.

Granted, there aren't a lot of backswords out there on the market, but i've been pleased with this one.
